How It Works

Sixty seconds. Here’s what happens.

Natural language in. Structured readiness signal out. Just talk for sixty seconds.

Step One · Talk

Say whatever’s on your mind. That’s enough.

Open the app and speak for sixty seconds — or type. No format, no prompts. Your morning, yesterday’s session, the meeting weighing on you — whatever’s there.

You don’t need to narrate your state. The signal is in what you say and how you say it.

Self-rating is the wrong instrument — drive hard enough and you’ll call fatigue “fine.” Aypex doesn’t ask you to rate yourself. It reads what your language already says.

• Recording… 0:42Just talk. No prompts.
Step Two · Analyze

Your language carries more signal than you realize.

How you talk about a challenge reveals what you can’t self-report — whether your thinking is flexible or rigid, your energy sourced or forced, stress sharpening or fragmenting you.

Aypex reads across every dimension that drives performance.

No surveys extracted these. No structured intake produced them. Your natural language did.

Step Three · Know

Four indicators. One honest picture.

Each check-in produces a snapshot across four composite indicators — not raw scores. A readable picture of where you stand, against your own baseline.

Energy

Tracking

The full-system picture of how resourced you are right now — how much you have to give, and where it's going.

Clarity

Watchful

The quality of your thinking — focus, flexibility, and whether you're present or on autopilot.

State of Mind

Strong

How you're relating to pressure right now. Whether stress is working for or against you.

Readiness

Tracking

The aggregate. Where your whole system stands, right now.

All four modeled against your own baseline — not a population average. What “normal” means for you is defined by you.

Step Four · Compare to You

Population averages flatten the only thing that matters.

Population Average

You’re “normal for your age group.”

Not yours. Theirs.

Your Baseline

Your trajectory relative to your own peak. Your pattern. Your signal.

Yours alone.

Over Time

The longer you use it, the clearer the picture gets.

A single check-in tells you where you stand today. Over weeks, a precise picture of your own patterns builds.

Aypex catches shifts in your trajectory weeks before they surface as a dip — so you adjust to the signal instead of recovering from the decline.

That’s sustained output, not reactive management.

For Coaches

Your clients are working toward something.
Know where they actually stand.

Your clients check in between sessions. You walk in with a continuous picture of each one’s readiness — Energy, Clarity, State of Mind. No surveys to design. No raw language exposed.

Aypex shows the trajectory. You coach the person.

Works across athletes, executives, ambitious individuals, and tactical professionals.

The Science

Built on peer-reviewed performance psychology. Held to a scientific standard.

Grounded in decades of research across sport psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and psychophysiology. The constructs aren’t new — measuring them continuously, from natural language, without surveys, is.

Aypex is a performance signal platform, not a clinical tool. It makes no clinical claims, and holds itself to the rigor high performers have always deserved.

01Established

Established Science

Peer-reviewed literature across sport psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and psychophysiology supports the constructs the Performance Health Model is built on.

02In progress

Validation in Progress

Construct validation is in active development. Independent measurement against expert assessment is on the roadmap.

03Forthcoming

Outcomes Research

Next phase: testing whether continuous readiness signal measurably improves performance outcomes over time. Study design forthcoming.

Common questions

What people ask.

How is this different from a wearable?

A wearable reads the body: heart rate, sleep, recovery. Aypex reads the layer above it — how your energy, thinking, and state of mind are actually holding up — from the way you speak. Wearables tell you what your physiology did. Aypex tells you what you have to work with today.

How long does a check-in take?

Sixty seconds. You talk, or type if you prefer, about whatever is on your mind. No prompts to answer and no format to follow. That's the entire ask.

What happens to what I say?

Your words are processed into structured signal, and the signal is what leaves the device. The indicators travel; the raw language doesn't. No coach, team, or dashboard ever sees a transcript of your check-in.

What are the four indicators?

Energy, Clarity, State of Mind, and Readiness. Energy is what you have to work with right now. Clarity is the quality of your thinking. State of Mind is how you're relating to pressure. Readiness is the aggregate — where your whole system stands. All four are modeled against your own baseline.

How long until the picture is useful?

Your first check-in gives you a useful reading of your current state. The deeper value builds over weeks, as repeated check-ins establish your baseline and your trajectory becomes visible. State arrives in sixty seconds; the pattern takes a few weeks to earn.

Your potential has a signal.
